PROJECT OBJECTIVECreate a 32,875 sq. ft. Health and Fitness Club within an existing 106,947 sq. ft. vacant building. PROJECT DESCRIPTIONRavatt Albrecht & Associates provided tenant improvements for a 32,875 sq. ft. Health and Fitness Club within an existing single story 106,947 sq. ft. vacant retail building. Work included designing a brand new facility to include full court basketball and volleyball courts, designated spaces for group fitness classes, a women's zone, plasma screen televisions, a ProShop, a juice bar, a tanning salon, and a vast collection of the latest exercise equipment. One of the club's signature amenities is its 1,800 sq. ft. Cardio Cinema, where members can power through a workout on one of more than 20 pieces of equipment while watching a 12-foot movie theater-style screen with surround sound system. The unique Women's Zone has a separate entrance from the women's locker room, allowing female members to enjoy all the great amenities of Gold's Gym in a comfortable environment. The result is a new state-of-the-art facility in Santa Maria that sets the standard for and facilitates fitness in the area, complementing the Central Coast’s focus on health and well-being. Providing a sense of place for clients, the main floor of the gym features small alcoves and sitting areas for members to relax after their workout, enjoy a beverage or snack from the juice bar, or sit and socialize with friends.
