PROJECT OBJECTIVE

Creation of a winery tasting room, office, caves, storage, and production areas in rural Santa Barbara County.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Located in Santa Barbara County near the City of Buellton, this winery consists of a series of buildings sited to create an area for gatherings large and small. Each structure houses a separate function: a 1,828 sf office building with offices and a large conference room, complete with porches and a large fireplace; a 6,132 sf tasting room, event space, kitchen, and storage; 4,000 sf of production and 5,200 sf of caves connecting the tasting room to office space to production.

The traditional exterior opens to a tasting room one would find in an Adirondack cabin. Large porches and French doors help to open up the interior spaces to surrounding hills and vineyards, allowing the space to be as cozy or as large as an occasion warrants.
